# Beacon Link vs PolessVPN

The clearest difference is update cadence: PolessVPN at every 10 days against Beacon Link's every 6 weeks. Beacon Link's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Beacon Link sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $2.00 per 7 days and PolessVPN sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $10.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Beacon Link ships an update every 6 weeks, PolessVPN every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
