# Screen Recorder vs Screen Rec*

The clearest difference is ads: Screen Rec* at none against Screen Recorder's shown. Screen Rec* also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Screen Recorder sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and Screen Rec* sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
