# SkillMap vs Focus Friend

The clearest difference is update cadence: Focus Friend at every 4 days against SkillMap's every 9 days. Focus Friend also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SkillMap sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Focus Friend sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SkillMap ships an update every 9 days, Focus Friend every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
