# Sychedelic vs MindNote

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Sychedelic at none against MindNote's 2. MindNote's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly) and iOS requirement (15 vs 18.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MindNote sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Sychedelic asks for nothing beyond the download.

Sychedelic ships an update monthly, MindNote every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
