# PoolHall vs Eliminator

The clearest difference is rating: Eliminator at 5.0 against PoolHall's 3.5. Eliminator also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 12) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). PoolHall's advantage is ratings volume (12 vs 1). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PoolHall sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Eliminator asks for nothing beyond the download.

Eliminator holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PoolHall has 12 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

PoolHall ships an update every 2 weeks, Eliminator every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
