# Truly Simple Timeline vs DestructNote

The clearest difference is update cadence: DestructNote at weekly against Truly Simple Timeline's fortnightly. DestructNote also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Truly Simple Timeline sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and DestructNote sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Truly Simple Timeline ships an update fortnightly, DestructNote weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
