# RPGFitness vs Ascend RPG

The clearest difference is rating: Ascend RPG at 5.0 against RPGFitness's 4.4. Ascend RPG also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 weeks). RPGFitness's advantage is ratings volume (36 vs 4) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RPGFitness sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.90 per 7 days and Ascend RPG sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ascend RPG holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RPGFitness has 36 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

RPGFitness ships an update every 2 weeks, Ascend RPG weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
