# Finalmente vs Dumbphone

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Finalmente at none against Dumbphone's 4. Finalmente also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.5). Dumbphone's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 7 months) and ratings volume (49 vs 9). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dumbphone sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Finalmente asks for nothing beyond the download.

Finalmente holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dumbphone has 49 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Finalmente ships an update every 7 months, Dumbphone every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
