# Vanish vs ChatEngine

Vanish and ChatEngine both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of ChatEngine's written reviews are positive against 50% of Vanish's. Vanish's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vanish sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and ChatEngine sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
