# Video Player vs Zyryn

The clearest difference is rating: Zyryn at 5.0 against Video Player's 3.7. Video Player's advantage is ratings volume (33 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Video Player sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Zyryn sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Zyryn holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Video Player has 33 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
