# App Blocker vs Onyx Focus

The clearest difference is update cadence: Onyx Focus at every 2 days against App Blocker's weekly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. App Blocker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Onyx Focus sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
