# Redmelon Bloc vs Election Tycoon

The clearest difference is update cadence: Election Tycoon at every 2 days against Redmelon Bloc's every 5 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Redmelon Bloc sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Election Tycoon sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Redmelon Bloc ships an update every 5 weeks, Election Tycoon every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
