# Velora vs Midvash

The clearest difference is rating: Velora at 4.8 against Midvash's 1.0. Velora also leads on monetization model (free vs freemium) and ratings volume (50 vs 1). Midvash's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs fortnightly). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Velora sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Midvash sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Velora holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Velora has 50 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 86% and 86% positive.

Velora ships an update fortnightly, Midvash every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
