# TidBit vs Prepd

The clearest difference is ads: Prepd at none against TidBit's shown. Prepd also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TidBit sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Prepd sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $39.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TidBit ships an update fortnightly, Prepd every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
