# GoTall vs Ascend

The clearest difference is rating: GoTall at 4.6 against Ascend's 4.0. GoTall also leads on ratings volume (6.8K vs 5). Ascend's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GoTall sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Ascend sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GoTall holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GoTall has 6.8K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

GoTall ships an update weekly, Ascend every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
