# SnapErase vs Video Compressor & Merge

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: SnapErase at 12.0 against Video Compressor & Merge's 17.6. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SnapErase sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Video Compressor & Merge sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
