# GenieNote vs NoteSam

The clearest difference is update cadence: GenieNote at every 2 weeks against NoteSam's every 3 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GenieNote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and NoteSam sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GenieNote ships an update every 2 weeks, NoteSam every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
