# Superbook vs Speed Reader

The clearest difference is update cadence: Speed Reader at every 5 days against Superbook's every 2 weeks. Superbook's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Superbook sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $16.99 per month and Speed Reader sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
