# StreamBook vs QuickNotes

The clearest difference is update cadence: StreamBook at every 3 days against QuickNotes's every 5 weeks. QuickNotes's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StreamBook sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month and QuickNotes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

StreamBook ships an update every 3 days, QuickNotes every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
