# Sundial Browser vs Earn Your Scroll

The clearest difference is monetization model: Sundial Browser at freemium against Earn Your Scroll's subscription. Sundial Browser also leads on ratings volume (10 vs 1). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sundial Browser sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Earn Your Scroll sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Sundial Browser against 5.0 for Earn Your Scroll. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sundial Browser has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Sundial Browser ships an update every 5 days, Earn Your Scroll every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
