# Hideon VPN vs YallaVPN

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Hideon VPN at 100% against YallaVPN's 67%. Hideon VPN also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 months). YallaVPN's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hideon VPN sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and YallaVPN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

YallaVPN holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 5 and 4 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Hideon VPN's written reviews are positive against 67% of YallaVPN's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Hideon VPN ships an update every 5 days, YallaVPN every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
