# Rush Attack vs Dead Road

The clearest difference is rating: Dead Road at 4.7 against Rush Attack's 3.7. Dead Road also leads on ratings volume (515 vs 14) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Rush Attack's advantage is review sentiment (59% vs 22%) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rush Attack sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Dead Road sells 11 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dead Road holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dead Road has 515 ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 59% of Rush Attack's written reviews are positive against 22% of Dead Road's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Rush Attack ships an update every 4 weeks, Dead Road every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
