# Royal Golf War vs Raft Evolution

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Raft Evolution at 100% against Royal Golf War's 50%. Raft Evolution also leads on monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). Royal Golf War's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Royal Golf War sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Raft Evolution sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Royal Golf War holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 6 and 2 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Royal Golf War's written reviews are positive against 100% of Raft Evolution's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Royal Golf War ships an update every 3 weeks, Raft Evolution every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
