# Apex vs Trip Computêr

The clearest difference is update cadence: Trip Computêr at weekly against Apex's monthly. Trip Computêr also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Apex sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Trip Computêr sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Apex ships an update monthly, Trip Computêr weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
