# CivicPoints vs RewardQ

The clearest difference is ads: CivicPoints at none against RewardQ's shown. RewardQ's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CivicPoints ships an update fortnightly, RewardQ every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
