# Proactor vs CoatingPro

The clearest difference is update cadence: Proactor at every 2 weeks against CoatingPro's every 6 weeks. CoatingPro's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Proactor sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and CoatingPro sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Proactor ships an update every 2 weeks, CoatingPro every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
