# Capy vs Crowd Guess

The clearest difference is ads: Crowd Guess at none against Capy's shown. Crowd Guess also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Capy's advantage is ratings volume (4.2K vs 3) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Capy sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Crowd Guess sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Crowd Guess holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Capy has 4.2K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Capy ships an update every 4 days, Crowd Guess weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
