# Capy vs Moonbrew

The clearest difference is update cadence: Capy at daily against Moonbrew's fortnightly. Capy also leads on ratings volume (4.2K vs 5) and device support (3 vs 1). Moonbrew's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and review sentiment (100% vs 77%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Capy sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Moonbrew sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Moonbrew holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Capy has 4.2K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 77% of Capy's written reviews are positive against 100% of Moonbrew's.

Capy ships an update daily, Moonbrew fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
