# Delex vs Acid

The clearest difference is rating: Delex at 5.0 against Acid's 3.0. Acid's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 60%) and in-app purchases (none vs 16). On price, ratings volume, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Delex sells 16 one-off in-app purchases. Acid asks for nothing beyond the download.

Delex holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 2 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Delex's written reviews are positive against 100% of Acid's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Delex ships an update every 2 months, Acid every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
