# GotoVPN vs Fast VPN

The clearest difference is review sentiment: GotoVPN at 100% against Fast VPN's 0%. GotoVPN also leads on device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). Fast VPN's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 4.0) and update cadence (weekly vs every 5 weeks). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GotoVPN sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Fast VPN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fast VPN holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 5 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of GotoVPN's written reviews are positive against 0% of Fast VPN's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GotoVPN ships an update every 5 weeks, Fast VPN weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
