# Watchly vs Aether Player

The clearest difference is update cadence: Aether Player at weekly against Watchly's monthly. Watchly's advantage is iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Watchly sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Aether Player sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
