# ZenCrypt VPN vs Lockin

The clearest difference is rating: Lockin at 5.0 against ZenCrypt VPN's 4.3. ZenCrypt VPN's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ratings volume (12 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ZenCrypt VPN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Lockin sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lockin holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ZenCrypt VPN has 12 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.
