# ImpulseLog vs CanCon

The clearest difference is update cadence: ImpulseLog at every 3 days against CanCon's weekly. ImpulseLog also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). CanCon's advantage is device support (4 vs 1). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ImpulseLog sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and CanCon sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ImpulseLog ships an update every 3 days, CanCon weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
