# Arc vs Affirmations

The clearest difference is update cadence: Arc at every 4 days against Affirmations's every 9 days. Affirmations's advantage is iOS requirement (18.5 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Arc sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Affirmations sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
