# FaceCrop Auto vs PGDSP

The clearest difference is update cadence: PGDSP at every 2 months against FaceCrop Auto's every 7 months. PGDSP also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FaceCrop Auto ships an update every 7 months, PGDSP every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
