# EC vs SOLID Architecture

The clearest difference is update cadence: SOLID Architecture at every 9 days against EC's every 7 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EC sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and SOLID Architecture sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

EC ships an update every 7 months, SOLID Architecture every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
