# Wabi vs SPECS

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: SPECS at none against Wabi's 7. SPECS also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and review sentiment (100% vs 74%). Wabi's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs monthly) and ratings volume (111 vs 13). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wabi sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $20.00 per month. SPECS asks for nothing beyond the download.

SPECS holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wabi has 111 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 74% of Wabi's written reviews are positive against 100% of SPECS's.

Wabi ships an update weekly, SPECS monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
