# HNMU vs Chinese

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: HNMU at none against Chinese's 1. HNMU also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). Chinese's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chinese sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. HNMU asks for nothing beyond the download.

HNMU ships an update every 2 months, Chinese every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
