# UnSugar vs Softly

The clearest difference is ads: Softly at none against UnSugar's shown. Softly also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 5 weeks). UnSugar's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.4). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. UnSugar sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month and Softly sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

UnSugar ships an update every 5 weeks, Softly weekly. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
