# IACP vs TMX Messenger

The clearest difference is rating: IACP at 5.0 against TMX Messenger's 4.5. IACP also leads on iOS requirement (16.4 vs 26.0). TMX Messenger's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

IACP holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TMX Messenger has 11 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

IACP ships an update every 2 months, TMX Messenger weekly. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
