# SnipNote vs Ki

The clearest difference is monetization model: Ki at free against SnipNote's subscription. Ki also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SnipNote sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Ki sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for SnipNote against 5.0 for Ki. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 2 respectively.

SnipNote ships an update every 2 weeks, Ki every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
