# Timebox vs Forma

The clearest difference is update cadence: Timebox at every 8 days against Forma's every 2 months. Timebox also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.6). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Timebox sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Forma sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Timebox ships an update every 8 days, Forma every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
