# Session Timer vs Ambient Focus

The clearest difference is update cadence: Ambient Focus at every 2 weeks against Session Timer's every 5 weeks. Ambient Focus also leads on iOS requirement (18 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Session Timer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Ambient Focus sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
