# Top Fun RC vs GovAuctions.com

The clearest difference is rating: GovAuctions.com at 4.8 against Top Fun RC's 3.8. GovAuctions.com also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 12 months) and ratings volume (27K vs 6). Top Fun RC's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and review sentiment (75% vs 54%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GovAuctions.com holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GovAuctions.com has 27K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Top Fun RC's written reviews are positive against 54% of GovAuctions.com's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Top Fun RC ships an update every 12 months, GovAuctions.com every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
