# SW Stream TV vs BroadStream TV

The clearest difference is rating: SW Stream TV at 5.0 against BroadStream TV's 4.5. BroadStream TV's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (8 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SW Stream TV holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BroadStream TV has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SW Stream TV ships an update every 5 months, BroadStream TV every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
