# Skillsy AI vs Dotly

The clearest difference is ads: Dotly at none against Skillsy AI's shown. Skillsy AI's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 5 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Skillsy AI sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Dotly sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Skillsy AI ships an update every 4 days, Dotly every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
