# Krumbit vs Lore

Krumbit and Lore both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 89% of Krumbit's written reviews are positive against 18% of Lore's. Krumbit also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 15). Lore's advantage is ratings volume (298 vs 16). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lore sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Krumbit asks for nothing beyond the download.

Lore holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lore has 298 ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 89% of Krumbit's written reviews are positive against 18% of Lore's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Krumbit ships an update weekly, Lore every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
