# Writease vs BrainDen

The clearest difference is update cadence: Writease at every 2 weeks against BrainDen's monthly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Writease sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and BrainDen sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Writease ships an update every 2 weeks, BrainDen monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
