# Writease vs Fluo

The clearest difference is update cadence: Fluo at every 2 days against Writease's every 2 weeks. Writease's advantage is iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Writease sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Fluo sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Writease ships an update every 2 weeks, Fluo every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
