# Ivy vs Emly

The clearest difference is update cadence: Emly at every 5 days against Ivy's every 10 days. Emly also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ivy sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Emly sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ivy ships an update every 10 days, Emly every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
